In order to import the AutoCorrect List to QuikScripts we need first to convert the Backed up Word file into a text file. Please follow the steps below to do so: 1- Open the back up file that we generated in the previous step 'Back up Your AutoCorrect Entries to a file' ( c:\backup\AutoCorrectBackupDocument.doc)
2- Delete the last column (labeled RTF) of the table b- Use the Table menu to delete the column. Table/Delete/Columns
3- Convert the table to a text a- Select the table (click the upper left corner of the table +)
b- Use the 'Table' menu to convert the table to a text. Table/Convert/Table to text
c- Chose 'Other' and "=" under the 'Separate text with' item of the 'Convert' dialog.
d- The result will be similar to this
e- Be sure to remove the symbols from the beginning and the end of the file.
f- Save the file as 'c:\backup\AutoCorrect.txt' in a text format not a Word format nor RTF format. |
