Q0> What are the System requirements for QuikScripts?

This Version of QuikScript for Windows functions on systems running: Windows95, Windows98 Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. This version does not function properly on Windows ME.

Q1> How do I register QuikScripts?

· A contact screen will come up when you first run the QuikScripts program. You should fill this out completely, making certain to check that you agree to the License Agreement. If your machine is not connect to the Internet, check the ‘Register Offline’ box before you proceed. Instruction on how to register offline will be provided by the application.

· You may register via the Internet using your credit card (select ‘Use Credit Card’ radio button).The credit card will be processed using a secure transaction provided by OpenSSL.

· You may also register via the Internet using a passcode(select ‘Use passcode’ radio button), passcodes must be purchased from a QuikScripts publisher. To purchase a passcode contact the QuikScripts publisher listed in the contact information dialog.

· Regardless of the payment method you choose, registration via the Internet proceeds in the same fashion. First you must fill out the required information and submit it using the ‘Purchase >>’ button. After submission you will be advised of how long you should wait until you retrieve your key. This wait is usually less than 15 minutes. Once the waiting period has passed, run QuikScripts and press the ‘Retrieve ’ button.

This will retrieve the encrypted unlocking code keyed to the computer that you have installed QuikScripts on. QuikScripts will be unlocked automatically, if there are any problems with the unlock process a dialog will appear to notify you.

· If your computer is not connected to the Internet you must register using our Offline register. Fill out the required information, check the ‘Register offline’ checkbox then press the ‘Purchase >>’ button. Our system will guide you till the end of the process.

Q2> How do I Un-register QuikScripts?

Q3> Is QuikScripts is the same program as QuickScript?

Yes, but QuikScripts is much improved and has a lot of features such as Unregister, and CD versions...

Q4> Do I still need a key?
You still need to unlock (register) your copy , after the trial period is expired. Now the process is automated all you need is an Internet connection for a process that will take less than 12 min this process includes the Credit card purchase the only method allowed at this time.

Q5> When I get a new computer, how will I transfer this program to that computer?

To transfer from computer to computer:
a- Unregister QuikScripts from your old machine (This is not an Uninstall) please read about the unregister feature on the help or on the manual.doc.
b- Install QS on the new machine and Register it using your passcode (free of charge).

Q6> If I reformat the hard drive on mycomputer, will I be able to re-install QuikScripts?

If you unregister before you format, you will be able to re-install and use QuikScripts with no problem.

Q7> Should I make a backup copy on a CD or zip drive for QuikScripts?

It will be good to backup the install file (QuikScriptsSetup.exe for future installs), also it's recommended to backup your word list QuickWords.at1, new Installs overwrite this file.
